Stella Nalwoga is a Ugandan lawyer specialising in digital policy, data governance, artificial intelligence regulation and international trade law. With nearly a decade of professional experience, she has worked on issues relating to trade, investment and sustainable development in East Africa, Europe and Asia. Winner of the 2022 Thomas Cottier Prize for the best Master’s thesis, she is a member of the advisory board of the’African Journal of Legal Issues in Technology. Committed to inclusive digital transformation, it works to develop legal and regulatory frameworks that promote innovation, data protection and sustainable development.
