Improving inclusion and gender equality through artificial intelligence in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Gender and Responsible Artificial Intelligence Network (GRAIN) is extending its call for proposals on improving gender inclusion and equality through artificial intelligence in sub-Saharan Africa.
This call invites proposals that address development issues at the intersection of AI and gender.
The call is aimed at researchers and organisations working on cross-cutting issues relating to AI, gender and development.
To be eligible, an organisation must meet the following criteria:
- Be an organisation headquartered in sub-Saharan Africa; ;
- Have a team with sufficient expertise or knowledge, or both, in AI, gender and inclusion, or related fields;
- Have a multidisciplinary team (preferred);
- Demonstrate experience of working in English and/or French.
