Shamim Nabuuma Kaliisa is a Ugandan innovator, social entrepreneur and expert in digital health and artificial intelligence. As founder and CEO of CHIL AI Lab and CHIL FemTech Centre, she develops innovative technological solutions to improve women’s health in Africa, particularly in the prevention and screening of breast and cervical cancer. Recognised for her social impact, she has received several international awards, including the Takeda Young Entrepreneur Award and the Young African Entrepreneur Award. She also represents Africa on the Commonwealth Youth Council, where she works to promote entrepreneurship and the empowerment of young people.
