Hajar Mousannif is a lecturer in computer science and artificial intelligence at Cadi Ayyad University. Trained as an engineer, she is the founder of the first Master’s degree in Data Science at the Semlalia Faculty of Science and coordinates several research projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning. The author of over 100 scientific publications and patents, her work focuses in particular on the applications of AI in healthcare, education, agriculture and security. Recognised by UNESCO and the MIT Technology Review, she advocates for artificial intelligence that is ethical, inclusive and dedicated to sustainable development.
