Ibrahim is a researcher, lecturer, and digital governance advocate based in Nigeria, specializing in the intersection of technology, public policy, and social justice. His work focuses on the governance and ethical implications of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and their adaptation to African contexts.

He lectures at Summit University Offa, where he contributes to research and initiatives on AI ethics, gender, digital literacy, and governance. He has organized and contributed to several national events and programs focused on digital transformation, education, and responsible technology, including TEDxSummitUniversityOffa and AI4FS school outreach programs.

Ibrahim also serves on academic committees, contributes to national education initiatives such as JAMB, and represents his university within the KU8+ consortium. Through his research, academic engagement, and community-based technology initiatives, he promotes inclusive and ethical digital transformation and works to expand opportunities for African youth in the digital and AI ecosystem.

Hempstone Tinga is a statistician-turned-entrepreneur specializing in human data operations for Artificial Intelligence. He is the Founder of riengAI, a startup supporting AI companies with high-quality data collection, transcription, speech data collection, image annotation, and data validation.

With experience in crowd testing and community management, Hempstone focuses on the human dimension of AI and on mobilizing diverse communities to generate reliable and representative datasets. Through a community of more than 10,000 contributors, he supports large-scale data collection projects across East Africa.

His work contributes to strengthening African participation in the AI value chain while promoting more inclusive, ethical, and equitable approaches to data and AI development.

Le Professeur Olayinka Jelili Yusuf est un universitaire nigérian de renom spécialisé en sociologie rurale, vulgarisation agricole et développement rural durable. Enseignant-chercheur à la Kwara State University, il possède plus d’une décennie d’expérience dans la recherche, l’enseignement supérieur et le leadership institutionnel dans les domaines de l’agriculture et du développement rural.

Ses travaux se situent à l’intersection des moyens de subsistance ruraux, des systèmes de vulgarisation agricole, de l’innovation technologique et du développement durable. À travers une approche multidisciplinaire et fondée sur des données probantes, il étudie les interactions entre les populations, les institutions et les technologies afin de promouvoir des transformations rurales inclusives et durables.

Il dirige actuellement plusieurs initiatives innovantes intégrant l’intelligence artificielle aux systèmes agricoles. Il est notamment Chercheur principal du projet Artificial Intelligence for Women in Agriculture (AI4WIA), qui vise à renforcer l’autonomisation des femmes agricultrices grâce aux technologies numériques, ainsi que responsable de l’initiative Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development (AI4SARD), consacrée à l’utilisation de l’IA pour améliorer la productivité agricole et la prise de décision des petits exploitants.

Ses domaines de recherche couvrent également l’adaptation au changement climatique, les plateformes agricoles numériques, la sécurité alimentaire, le développement des entreprises rurales et les modèles de vulgarisation agricole orientés vers les politiques publiques. Parallèlement à ses activités de recherche, il s’investit activement dans le renforcement des capacités, le mentorat académique et le développement institutionnel.
