The AI4D programme

We focus on gender and other context-related exclusionary factors and their intersection with responsible AI. By responsible AI, we mean equity in data use, algorithm creation, expertise frameworks and AI practice policies. Our network addresses the cross-cutting issues of AI, gender and development. The network focuses on sub-Saharan Africa with a medium-term goal of gender inclusion and a longer-term goal of gender equality.
