GRAIN means Gender and Responsible AI Network (Network for Gender and l?Artificial Intelligence In Charge).

The type and other factors exclusion related to the context in sub-saharan Africa are at the center of our concerns. We're putting l?emphasis on the?intersectionality and on a responsible policy in the matter of?artificial intelligence.

By responsible, we hear theequity in use of data, the creation of algorithms, frameworks, and policies of the practice IA. Our network addresses cross-cutting issues of AI and gender.

G*RAIN brings together organizations, universities, and hubs based in sub-saharan Africa who are either already active or interested in becoming active in the field of l?IA and/or l?inclusion of the kind.

Our goal is d?learn, share, defend, and propose solutions to cross-cutting issues of l?AI, l?gender equality and development. We establish a link between the development of the?artificial intelligence and l?equality of the sexes. Our field?action is the?Sub-saharan africa, with a medium-term work focuses on gender and l?inclusion, and more long-term l?equity and gender.
