Improving inclusion and gender equality through Artificial Intelligence in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Gender and Responsible Artificial Intelligence Network (GRAIN) is extending its call for proposals on improving gender inclusion and equality through artificial intelligence in sub-Saharan Africa.
This call invites proposals that address development issues at the intersection of AI and gender.
The call is addressed to researchers and organisations working on cross-cutting issues around AI, gender and development.
To be eligible, an organisation must meet the following criteria:
- Be an organization headquartered in sub-Saharan Africa ;
- Have a team with sufficient expertise or knowledge or both in AI, gender, and inclusion, or related fields;
- Have a multi-disciplinary team (preferred);
- Demonstrate experience working in English and/or French.
