IPAR will be taking part in the sixth edition of SIPEN, which will be held on 16 and 17 February 2023 at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar.
Under the aegis of theUEMOAThe event is co-organised by the Organisation des Professionnels du Numérique (OPTIC) in Senegal and the Regroupement des Organisations des Professionnels des TIC (ROPTIC) of the eightUEMOA.
The 2023 edition is being held alongside the meetings of the Conseil National du Patronat (CNP) in Senegal, which brings together 33 professional sector groups, including OPTIC, the most representative organisation of the digital sector in Senegal, which chairs ROPTIC.
IPAR has identified data and the responsible use of artificial intelligence as key levers in the production of evidence for appropriate and effective policies that meet the needs of communities.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity to promote some of the IPAR's initiatives relating to the digital economy:
- DUA (Development and use of Artificial Intelligence systems for the well-being of all in West Africa)
- GRAIN (Gender and Responsible Artificial Intelligence Network)
- Agridata (as well as being a platform for players in the agro-sylvo-pastoral and fisheries sector and related fields, it offers access to a number of exhaustive and reliable sources of data and information on agriculture in Senegal).
- Climb (Climate-Induced Migration in Africa and Beyond: Big Data and Predictive Analytics)
