        "rendered": "<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Une nouvelle enqu\u00eate mondiale de l\u2019UNESCO men\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de plus de 450&nbsp;\u00e9tablissements scolaires et universit\u00e9s a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que moins de 10&nbsp;% d\u2019entre eux ont mis en place une politique interne et\/ou des orientations officielles concernant l\u2019utilisation d\u2019applications d\u2019intelligence artificielle (IA) g\u00e9n\u00e9rative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en vue de la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/fr\/articles\/ia-generative-lunesco-mobilise-les-ministres-de-leducation-pour-apporter-une-reponse-coordonnee\">table ronde minist\u00e9rielle sur l\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation<\/a>, organis\u00e9e par l\u2019UNESCO le 25&nbsp;mai&nbsp;2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ses r\u00e9sultats illustrent les incertitudes li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence soudaine de nouvelles applications d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative, lesquelles, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leurs puissantes capacit\u00e9s, produisent des cr\u00e9ations semblant sorties d\u2019un esprit humain, notamment des fiches de lecture, des r\u00e9dactions, des lettres, des programmes informatiques, des illustrations et bien d\u2019autres encore. Cette technologie est \u00e9galement capable d\u2019obtenir d\u2019excellentes notes aux principaux examens normalis\u00e9s, y compris aux examens d\u2019admission \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 et aux \u00e9preuves conditionnant l\u2019exercice de professions r\u00e9glement\u00e9es, notamment m\u00e9decin ou avocat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019absence quasi syst\u00e9matique d\u2019orientations d\u00e9montre que les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs se sont laiss\u00e9 d\u00e9passer par les nouvelles technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les politiques qui encadrent l\u2019utilisation \u00e0 bon et \u00e0 mauvais escient des nouvelles technologies num\u00e9riques \u00e0 des fins \u00e9ducatives prennent souvent forme au niveau d\u2019un \u00e9tablissement, avant d\u2019essaimer au niveau de la municipalit\u00e9, de la r\u00e9gion et\/ou du pays. Le petit nombre de politiques internes mis en \u00e9vidence par l\u2019enqu\u00eate de l\u2019UNESCO prouve que les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs sont encore en train de trouver leur \u00e9quilibre et de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux r\u00e9ponses \u00e0 apporter. L\u2019\u00e9laboration et la fusion de politiques plus syst\u00e9miques \u2013 qui concernent un grand nombre d\u2019\u00e9tablissements scolaires et d\u2019universit\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale et infranationale \u2013 demanderont probablement beaucoup plus de temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019enqu\u00eate montrent que la plus grande confusion r\u00e8gne quant \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation des nouvelles technologies puissantes d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Sobhi Tawil, directeur de l\u2019\u00c9quipe pour l\u2019avenir de l\u2019apprentissage et l\u2019innovation de l\u2019UNESCO. \u00ab&nbsp;Les \u00e9tablissements ne fournissent pas encore d\u2019orientations ou de directives.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019application num\u00e9rique \u00e0 la croissance la plus rapide de tous les temps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9tablissements scolaires et les universit\u00e9s semblent prendre leur temps pour formuler des recommandations et \u00e9tablir des r\u00e8gles, mais les apprenants et les enseignants, eux, n\u2019attendent pas. Selon les estimations, ChatGPT compte plus de 100&nbsp;millions d\u2019utilisateurs dans le monde, ce qui en fait, et de loin, l\u2019application num\u00e9rique qui affiche la croissance la plus rapide de tous les temps, surpassant les chiffres d\u00e9j\u00e0 vertigineux d\u2019applications de r\u00e9seaux sociaux telles qu\u2019Instagram, Snapchat et autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;En l\u2019absence d\u2019orientations institutionnelles, ces technologies risquent d\u2019\u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9es aux syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs de mani\u00e8re non planifi\u00e9e, sans qu\u2019on en connaisse bien les implications ou les cons\u00e9quences. L\u2019id\u00e9al serait de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir s\u00e9rieusement \u00e0 leur place et \u00e0 leur r\u00f4le, puis d\u2019agir pour concr\u00e9tiser cette vision. Nous ne pouvons pas nous contenter d\u2019ignorer les r\u00e9percussions \u00e0 court et \u00e0 moyen terme de ces technologies sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 des connaissances, l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M.&nbsp;Tawil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019UNESCO conseille aux \u00e9tablissements scolaires et aux universit\u00e9s de se montrer proactifs en \u00e9laborant des orientations et en aidant les apprenants et les enseignants \u00e0 mieux comprendre ces technologies ainsi que les tenants et les aboutissants de leur utilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement doivent adopter une approche souple et it\u00e9rative, faute de quoi ils essaieront sans cesse de rattraper le rythme effr\u00e9n\u00e9 de l\u2019innovation technologique&nbsp;\u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 M.&nbsp;Tawil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les universit\u00e9s plus nombreuses que les \u00e9tablissements scolaires \u00e0 disposer de recommandations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement qui d\u00e9clarent avoir instaur\u00e9 une politique, environ la moiti\u00e9 indique fournir des \u00ab&nbsp;orientations pr\u00e9cises&nbsp;\u00bb, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire disposer de r\u00e8gles et de conseils clairs concernant l\u2019utilisation des applications d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative dans un contexte \u00e9ducatif. L\u2019autre moiti\u00e9 indique accorder une \u00ab&nbsp;marge de man\u0153uvre aux utilisateurs&nbsp;\u00bb, ce qui signifie qu\u2019il incombe aux d\u00e9partements, aux classes et aux enseignants de d\u00e9terminer si et dans quelle mesure l\u2019utilisation d\u2019applications d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative est autoris\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur les centaines d\u2019\u00e9tablissements ayant particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019enqu\u00eate, seuls deux d\u00e9clarent avoir instaur\u00e9 une politique ou des orientations valant \u00ab&nbsp;interdiction&nbsp;\u00bb, par laquelle l\u2019\u00e9tablissement interdit totalement ou en grande partie l\u2019utilisation d\u2019applications d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative telles que ChatGPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Environ 40&nbsp;% des \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement d\u00e9clarant disposer d\u2019orientations pr\u00e9cisent que celles-ci n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 consign\u00e9es par \u00e9crit et qu\u2019elles ne sont donc communiqu\u00e9es qu\u2019oralement. Cette situation d\u00e9montre le caract\u00e8re improvis\u00e9 des r\u00e9ponses apport\u00e9es dans le secteur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les universit\u00e9s sont nettement plus susceptibles d\u2019avoir formul\u00e9 une politique ou des orientations institutionnelles que les \u00e9tablissements scolaires. Environ 13&nbsp;% des universit\u00e9s affirment disposer d\u2019orientations sous une forme ou sous une autre, contre seulement 7&nbsp;% des \u00e9tablissements scolaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autre fait r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur&nbsp;: pr\u00e8s de 20&nbsp;% des personnes ayant r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019enqu\u00eate indiquent ne pas savoir si leur \u00e9tablissement applique une politique ou des orientations sur l\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative. Ce chiffre \u00e9lev\u00e9 refl\u00e8te l\u2019incertitude et le vide r\u00e9glementaire qui entourent actuellement ces nouvelles technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Orientations de l\u2019UNESCO sur l\u2019IA dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l\u2019UNESCO s\u2019est efforc\u00e9e d\u2019aider les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement et les pays \u00e0 adopter une ligne de conduite sur l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019IA dans le contexte \u00e9ducatif, en s\u2019orientant vers une direction humaniste qui privil\u00e9gie l\u2019inclusion, l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9. La\u00a0Recommandation de l\u2019UNESCO sur l\u2019\u00e9thique de l\u2019intelligence artificielle\u00a0(2021) contient des principes g\u00e9n\u00e9raux qui visent \u00e0 sous-tendre les r\u00e8gles et les r\u00e9glementations propres \u00e0 chaque secteur et \u00e0 chaque pays. Le\u00a0Consensus de Beijing sur l\u2019intelligence artificielle et l\u2019\u00e9ducation\u00a0(2019) et la publication\u00a0Je rougirais si je pouvais\u00a0(2019) traitent de certaines des cons\u00e9quences sp\u00e9cifiques des technologies de l\u2019IA, y compris des agents de dialogue (chatbots), sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation et la culture. En outre, la publication\u00a0IA et \u00e9ducation\u00a0: guide pour les d\u00e9cideurs politiques\u00a0(2021) propose des conseils strat\u00e9giques pr\u00e9cis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c0 propos de l\u2019enqu\u00eate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e du 4 au 19&nbsp;mai&nbsp;2023 aupr\u00e8s des r\u00e9seaux mondiaux des \u00e9coles associ\u00e9es et des chaires universitaires de l\u2019UNESCO.
