The program includes an intensive training phase focusing on female leadership, AI application, market research and project management. Participants will hone their skills through case studies, interactive workshops and the development of project proposals.
The first cohort of the program is made up of 34 women from a variety of backgrounds in 11 African countries. These participants, including entrepreneurs, researchers, engineers and professionals, are eager to make a positive impact on their communities.
The first phase of the program included online training sessions covering a variety of AI-related topics over 36 hours, including AI sub-domains, its adoption in business and successful implementations in Africa.
The program aims to empower African women to drive innovation and change by providing them with a platform to lead and shape the future of technology in Africa.
